Chelsea appear to be on the verge of 

missing out on the 'next N'Golo Kante' in 

the summer transfer window. According 

to Sky Sports, Manchester United is interested

 in Tottenham Hotspur transfer target 

Konrad Laimer. 


The RB Leipzig midfielder has been compared

 to the Blues' midfielder, and his contract

 with the German giants is set to expire at 

the end of the season, making him available

 for a bargain price. Despite Laimer's reservations

, the Bundesliga club is apparently interested 

in extending his contract. 


According to Sky Sports,'several big clubs' 

are interested in signing the Austria international

 at the end of the season, with two of them

 being Premier League clubs in the 'top 

five'. Ralf Rangnick, who worked briefly

 with Laimer during their time together

 at RB Salzburg, has been named to the team.

He stated  that Rashford will be unavailable due to  bronchitis while Bailly recently approached  the team doctor with back problems and  could miss out.
